This placement was made even more impressive by the circumstances. Just two weeks prior, Calliope experienced a full coat blowout. Shown with half a coat but all heart, she floated across the ring with ease and confidence. To place in that condition speaks to her structure, movement, and the heart of a true champion.
But Calliope is more than just a winner. She is a cornerstone of our breeding program. Her structure is refined, her temperament endlessly gentle, and she consistently passes these qualities on to her puppies, making each one a beautiful, sweet, and perfect addition to their new families.
Reign is a natural complement to her, bringing a striking, wolfish expression, a well-balanced frame, and a calm confidence that holds in both the ring and everyday life. At the 2024 APKC Show in Pittsburgh, Reign distinguished himself as a top contender, earning:

He continued that momentum at the 2025 Pomsky Showdown, where he claimed:

His win carried particular weight after the judge spent several minutes commenting on just how difficult his class was to judge, calling it one of the most competitive groups she had seen. Every dog in the ring, she noted, represented the Pomsky standard with exceptional consistency and quality. For Reign to rise to the top in such a lineup was an achievement we could not be more proud of.
With a blend of Calliope’s elegance and Reign’s strength, their puppies have already been proven to possess an outstanding combination of structure, temperament, and type that is uniquely Southpaw Pomskies. Lavender is one of our brightest stars and a cornerstone of our future program. True to her name, she embodies calm, gentle grace, carrying herself with a quiet confidence that immediately sets her apart. Her serene, low-energy temperament makes her an exceptional example of balance in the Pomsky breed. That same composure has translated seamlessly into the show ring, where she first earned recognition as a puppy at the 2024 American Pomsky Kennel Club show in Pittsburgh taking home Second Place Puppy (Pet, Standard) and returned in 2025 for a standout adult debut at the Pomsky Showdown. There, she claimed First Place Mini Female 12–15 months and went on to earn Reserve Champion Mini Female (all ages), confirming her transition from promising puppy to serious contender.
Wilder brings a powerful complement to Lavender’s presence. Standing just 13.25 inches tall and weighing 13.5 pounds, he is compact, well-balanced, and purposefully built. He descends from a long line of proven champions, including a dam (mom) who earned Champion at the 2024 Pomsky Showdown, a sire (dad) that earned Champion at the 2024 Pomsky Showdown, and an aunt that earned Champion at the 2025 Pomsky Showdown. His pedigree reflects generations of intentional breeding that have helped shape the Pomsky breed itself and his American Eskimo heritage adds an important layer of refinement, strengthening structure, improving coat quality, and supporting the breed’s continued progression toward formal recognition by the American Kennel Club (AKC).
Beyond pedigree and accolades, Wilder’s temperament is exactly what we strive to preserve. Due to puppy class registrations being based solely on weight, she was required to enter the micro division, even though her height more appropriately aligned with the mini class. She was turning the judge's head all day, and she even pulled me aside to tell me “If that’s not a mini Husky, I don’t know what is.” and that she loved what we were doing with our program and how well we showed our dogs, bringing out the best in them. All this to say we know Fable's time is coming, and when she’s placed where she truly belongs she’s going to make waves.
